Good morning! Let me tell you about my typical school day and what I do after class. I'm a fourth grader and I really enjoy learning English. Every morning when I wake up, I always sing my favorite song to make myself feel happy. After breakfast, I take the bus to school with my best friend Li Hua. She and I have been friends since kindergarten, and we always sit next to each other in class.
Our English class starts at 8:30. The teacher, Miss Wang, always starts with a warm-up game. Last week we played a game called "Word Chain". We had to say five English words in a row without repeating any letters. I won that game by saying "apple, egg, frog, umbrella, snake". The whole class clapped for me, and I felt so proud!
After English class, we have lunch in the school cafeteria. My favorite food is fried rice with vegetables. I always share some of my food with my classmates because I know sharing makes people happy. During lunch break, we sometimes play cards or draw pictures in our notebooks. Last Friday, I drew a picture of our teacher wearing a superhero costume with a speech bubble that said "Best Teacher Ever".
In the afternoon, we have art class on Mondays and Wednesdays. Last Monday, we made paper flowers using colored paper and glue. My flower looked like a butterfly because I added wings made from tissue paper. On other days, we do P.E. class where we learn new dances. The most fun dance we've learned is the "Disco Dance" to the song "Twist and Shout". I can twist my body 360 degrees now, just like a real dancer!
After school, I sometimes go to an English club. Last Saturday, we had a party with games and snacks. We played a game called "English Charades" where we acted out words like "apple", "book", and "ball". When I acted out "ball", everyone guessed it correctly and gave me a high-five. It was so exciting!
On weekends, I like to help my parents with housework. On Saturday mornings, I wash the dishes while my mom cooks. My favorite part is washing the glasses because I can see my reflection in them. On Sundays, we always go to the park. Last Sunday, we played tag with some other kids from our neighborhood. I was the last one to be tagged, but I didn't care because we all laughed so much.
I also have a special time every evening. After dinner, I sit on the sofa and read English books. My favorite book is "Charlotte's Web" in English. I can read about 10 pages every night before bed. Sometimes I read to my parents because they want to practice their English too. My dad always asks me to explain difficult words, and I love helping him.
I think my life is full of fun and learning. At school, I learn new words and make friends. At home, I help my family and read books. On weekends, I play with other kids and relax. Even though sometimes I'm tired after school, I always feel happy because I know I'm growing up every day.
Last month, I made a plan for next month. I want to learn 50 new English words, join a soccer team, and plant a small garden. I'll start by making a vocabulary book and practicing with my friend every day. For soccer, I'll ask the school coach if I can join his training sessions. The garden will be on our阳台 (balcony), and I'll plant sunflowers because they grow fast and look beautiful.
I'm excited about next month. I know it will be even better than this month. I'll keep working hard and enjoying my life. Remember, friends, every day is a new chance to learn and grow. Let's make our days full of happiness and knowledge!
